Barbara’s illustrious career spans over three decades at Lockheed Martin, where she held several key leadership positions. Before her retirement in March 2024, she served as the Director of Global Supply Chain Operations at Lockheed Martin Space in Littleton, CO for 9 years. In this role, Barbara implemented robust supply chain and subcontract strategies and metrics that aligned with corporate business and financial goals, driving enhanced operational efficiency and cost-effectiveness. She oversaw the financial performance of a $1.8 billion Line of Business (LOB), consistently surpassing financial expectations while maintaining cost and schedule baselines. Her long-term, strategic relationships with key suppliers led to favorable contracts, improved schedules, and reduced acquisition costs.

Barbara directed the functional and financial performance of Subcontract Professionals, managing complex contracts, including Cost Type, Firm Fixed Price, and Level of Effort. She led a team of approximately sixty supply chain professionals, including five senior leaders, responsible for strategy development, program planning, and executing approximately $1 billion in outsourced spend across multiple states and customer locations. Beyond operational and strategic facets, Barbara played a pivotal role in developing people, staffing, performance evaluation, training and recognition, ensuring team growth, continuous improvement and business success.
